1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Recipiq ("the Service", "we", "us", "our") — available at this website — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Recipiq (Sole Proprietorship).

2. Description of Service

Recipiq is an AI-powered recipe suggestion tool. You enter ingredients you have at home, and the Service returns recipe ideas generated by a third-party large language model (Groq / Llama). The Service also provides optional meal planning, subscription plans, and links to third-party YouTube videos.

3. No Medical or Nutritional Advice

IMPORTANT: The recipes, calorie estimates, and nutritional information provided byRecipiq are for general informational and entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, dietary advice, or professional nutritional guidance.

Always consult a qualified physician, dietitian, or healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have food allergies, medical conditions, or are pregnant. We are not liable for any health outcomes resulting from following suggestions made by this Service.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Recipes are generated by artificial intelligence and may occasionally contain inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable content. Recipiq does not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or suitability of AI-generated recipes. Always use your own judgment when preparing food, and ensure ingredients are safe for consumption.

We are not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or damages resulting from following AI-generated recipe instructions.

5. User Accounts & Google Sign-In

You may use the Service without creating an account (Guest mode) or sign in with your Google account via OAuth. By signing in, you grant Recipiq access to your basic profile information (name and email address) as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.

6. Subscription & Payments

Recipiq offers paid subscription plans ("Pro" and "Family"). Payments are processed securely by Razorpay (a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway). By subscribing:

• You authorize Recipiq to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annual).
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Price changes will be notified at least 7 days in advance via email.
• We do not store your card, UPI, or banking credentials. All payment data is handled by Razorpay.

7. Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. If you are not satisfied with your subscription within 7 days of the initial payment, contact us at support@recipiq.app and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.

Refunds are not available after 7 days or for renewals. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time after the 7-day refund window.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Indian laws.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service.
• Use automated bots or scripts to make excessive API requests.
• Share, resell, or redistribute AI-generated content for commercial purposes without our consent.
• Upload or submit any harmful, offensive, or illegal content via the Service.
• Attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the Service.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.

10. Intellectual Property

The Recipiq name, logo, design, and original code are the intellectual property of Recipiq (Sole Proprietorship). AI-generated recipe text produced for you during your session is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. Third-party YouTube video links are owned by their respective creators.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Google (authentication), Groq (AI model), Razorpay (payments), and YouTube (video links). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Recipiq is not responsible for third-party service availability, data practices, or content.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Recipiq (Sole Proprietorship) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
